Salary: $25.24-26.57/hr


Bring your love of children, children's literature, and innovative
programming ideas to our Junior Library. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic children's librarian to develop
imaginative programs for children and teens; to plan collections which
encourage the love of reading and use of the library; and to work
collaboratively with schools and community groups. The successful
candidate will be someone who enjoys working in a busy library serving a
diverse community of over 75,000.  

Work requires knowledge of children's library services; familiarity with
new technology and ability to contribute to our kidzone website. Strong
written and verbal communication skills including the ability to
communicate effectively and positively with library users of all ages.
MLS degree from an ALA-accredited school required. Bilingual Spanish or
Portuguese a plus.
