[Publib] Sun/moon children's book title needed

A friend of mine sent this query to me today.  Anyone have an idea about the book title?

I am starting a story time at IMAS and  we are hoping you can help 
track down a book. It is one of the many fables explaining the sun 
and moon relationship, and I am told the basic plot is: sun and moon 
fall in love and sun makes a set of  clothes for the moon. They don't 
fit because the moon has moved into a new phase and her shape is 
different. The sun keeps trying to make different clothes but the 
moon is always changing. They split up and go to different parts of 
the sky.

Does this ring any bells?would anyone in your stellar Children's Dept 
know this book?
