Alison,
My branch library also offers computer instruction. We offer classes, which
can have up to 12 people in each class. If the class size is over 5 people,
I usually have another staff memeber in the room as well to help out. I
stick with the basics for my classes: Computer Basics, E-Mail, Internet,
Word Processing, Scanner, Windows XP, Keyboarding, and a few others. I have
tried a few advanced classes, but our basics classes are much better
attended. I always make sure to include some type of computer excercise in
each class, as the patrons love to practice with the computer with staff
members present to help them along.
