For a current rfp from IMLS, the group with which I am working is considering an experiment in a few libraries that would recruit non-library/non-internet users into the library and have incentives to get them to use the library Internet (in part to gauge what difference it might make to the user to have become an Internet user).

To make this work, we would ask a few libraries if they would be willing to assign someone within the library to help us teach the "recruits" and encourage their library internet use and we would compensate the libraries for their time (in addition to compensation to the recruits).

Is this something some of you would be willing to collaborate in if we got the grant.  I am just trying to figure out the feasibility of the approach at this time.
