PVLD has a PDF version of their monthly newsletter on their website:
http://www.pvld.org/newsletter/current.pdf
This link is placed in a BookLetters custom newsletter where patrons can
subscribe and have it delivered to their email inbox.
This is how it looks in the patron's inbox:
http://www.booksite.com/texis/scripts/bookletter/showlist.html?sid=6177&
list=CNL1
This is what the email newsletter subscription page looks like:
http://www.booksite.com/texis/scripts/bookletter/addnluser.html?sid=6177
We have 523 email subscribers for the monthly update.
The RSS subscription page is here:
http://www.booksite.com/texis/scripts/bookletter/addrss.html?sid=6177
Since we do not use third party tools to stat these feeds, we don't know
the number of RSS subscribers.

Subject: [Publib] Newsletters On The Web?[Scanned]
I thought I'd pick up on the newsletter thread and see if anyone else
has had success transforming their print newsletter into an online, Web
based newsletter. We create a pdf link from our Web page now, but we're
hoping to create an online newsletter -- a newsletter that takes
advantage of current technology to provide the same information via the
Web.
So, I'd very much appreciate seeing examples of online newsletters, or
hearing about the experience of creating an online newsletter.
Thanks,
Dan
