Our dress code says that clothing must be clean and intact (i.e., no torn
jeans or tops). Unless someone has religious reasons for wearing a
headcovering, staff is to take off hats. (I use Tom Landry, the late coach
of the Dallas Cowboys, as an example. He was known for wearing a man's hat
[not a baseball cap, but something like a fedora - and I'm not up on men's
hat styles] - at all games, except whenthe Cowboys played the Saints in the
Superdome. His reason: "My mother always told me not to wear a hat
indoors." But I digress.) People working with book trucks must wear
closed shoes for safety reasons.
