[Publib] Second Life Hype vs. Human Needs (redux)

Greetings,

I think that the best local resource to start with would be the

MSW programs. The University of Texas at Austin:

http://www.utexas.edu/ssw/ would be a great local resource

for Mr. Moran.

I know that when my sister was getting her MSW, they had

a requirement for advanced students to intern in practical

settings. A partnership with the MSW faculty might yield

the appropriate tools, training and staffing.

Maybe you might consider partnering with a social service agency to place
such a person in the library? That would give the position support and
supervision from an agency with expertise in this field of work and keep the
library out of the social service field.
