The Ken Burns documentary might be interesting for people of any age. The controversy might add to the interest.

I did want to point out that Boomers came after WWII. WWII: approximately 1939 - 1945 (not counting conflicts leading up to WWII) Boomers: 1946 - 1960

So, we Boomers learned about WWII in school (history classes) and, for some of us but not all, from our parents.

Hi
You might think about the new Ken Burns programs coming up this fall. We
have a number planned including a forum with WW II veterans discussing their
experiences. We'll be serving cookies from a WWII ration cookbook. :)
Our local PBS has a bunch of materials they are sharing with us in
preparation.
