[Publib] programming for boomers

Elizabeth,
It is supposedly being re-edited. It is of huge
concern in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas where
there are so many hispanic veterans, those currently
serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, plus veterans of
WWII, Korea and Viet Nam. When Mrs. Kerry made a
speech here in 2004, she asked veterans to stand.
About 20% of the audience stood up! I'm glad your
local professor will discuss this problem.
Also good to have these programs as the WWII men and
women are getting up in years. My mother has my
father's WWII heavy bomber photo album. He was a
mechanic stationed at an airbase south of London for 2
years. Many children of veterans have come out of the
woodwork to ask for copies of these photos, esp. the
ones that show the nose art on the heavy bomber
planes. I wish my dad were here to see the
documentary.
