Hello publibbers:I am a reference librarian in a medium-sized public library
in Central Florida. And, in addition to reference desk duty, I have been
facilitating programs for adults for the eight years that I have been working
here.
Our numerous regular programs—craft programs, book
discussion groups, lectures, computer classes, etc.--have been well-received and well-attended by mostly senior citizens who
are 65+ years old. Now we are
considering more of a focus on the Boomer generation with our programming. My question is: are any of you out there already doing this? If so, what are you doing that works?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have.
