And The Weather Channel almost totally (!) ignores my part of the country.
When they go
across the States, they smilingly point out the Plains, and then all of a
sudden (not even part
of a sudden), they're onto California.
We've had some pretty horrific weather that never gets mentioned. They
extol the winds
"gusting and howling" at 30mph in Boston when we've had mild Montana breezes
at 60mph.
But in the long run, I think I would rather be overlooked -- it's safer.
