[Publib] Book Drops

I am looking for help from public library directors.

We have a Mosler Book Return - Mosler Depository, Grandview, MO is on
the front of the depository.  The library was built in 1989 and I
imagine the book drop is from that year.

The locking bar has worn down and been broken off and patrons are
forcing it open when the library is open ... this is annoying to the
staff who have to go out to the bookdrop to retrieve books during the
day.

I have avoided any professional repair or replacement until now that
complaints are fairly consistent. 

It seems the Mosler Depository or Mosler Dropository has disappeared - I
can't find any phone number or web site.  I have researched other book
drops/returns on the web and in catalogs and dimensions, etc. are all
different.  Our library wall is brick and will necessitate some expense
to install another book drop.  The staff does not like the idea of a
drive-up or mailbox-type book return and I am trying to take this into
consideration. 

Does anyone have a suggestion for me?  Does anyone in Missouri know if
Mosler was bought out by another company?
