[Publib] novel set in Kent, England

[Donna Moran]

A patron remembers reading a book sometime in the 1950s or 1960s dealing 
with Ightham Mote, Knole and set in Kent County, England.  There may have 
been mention of a skeleton found boarded up in the walls of the building.  
She thinks the author was Jessamyn West but all the titles that had 
descriptions are set in America so I think it's someone else.  I've used 
Novelist with no success.
