Living Linked - A Social Networking Conference

Presented by the SLA Southern California Chapter

This event will feature four micro-sessions with industry representatives
and vendors, and UCLA students who have developed a wiki as a resource for
professionals and prospective students.  There will also be an
audience-fueled, moderated panel discussion, featuring Charles Chaney
(Biomedical Engineering Central), Christian Gray (Safari Books Online) and
Josh Walters (The Boeing Company) as they discuss social networking and its
use professionally, and field questions from the audience on library
2.0-related topics.

In the afternoon, SLA CEO and Former Director of the U.S. Office of
Personnel Management Janice Lachance will provide the day's keynote.
