POSITION: Head of Information Services #27-113, Jefferson County Public
Library System, Wheat Ridge Library, Wheat Ridge, CO

QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a Master's of Library Science degree and
minimum 3 years library experience. Supervisory and program development
experience also required. Must be flexible to work some evenings,
weekends, and minor holidays.

Jefferson County Colorado is nestled in the beautiful foothills of the

satisfaction ratings in the nation. This is an exciting new position for
our Wheat Ridge Library, allowing the person hired to focus exclusively
on providing information services and staff training for all the
Community Libraries. If you enjoy providing excellent customer service,

DUTIES: The Head of Information Services will take a leadership role in
developing the collection, policy, programming, patron education, and
reference services. In partnership with the other Heads of Information
Services, this position will plan, implement, and evaluate information
service for the entire system. This position reports to the Library
Manager and supervises a staff of two, including hiring, training, and
coaching staff and conducting annual performance appraisals. This person
is scheduled daily at the reference desk. Position participates in
staff, committee, and special task force meetings and may also attend
workshops and conferences. The successful candidate will be one that
enjoys a busy work environment, working with a bright staff and
possesses a great sense of humor.

SALARY: $45,700 Annually
