I am shocked -- *SHOCKED* -- that librarians who are left-leaning and
into diversity and inclusiveness should be saying rude things about L.
Ron Hubbard & Co.  I want ALA Council to issue a resolution protecting
L. Ron's feelings of victimization.  (If he suffers from such feelings.)

Actually, it *is* kind of ironic that this should be the case, but I'm
no fan of L. Ron and his disciples (Tom Cruise, anyone?  Mr.
Maturity??).  *I* like the propaganda we receive occasionally from
countries around the world.  Usually the books come from some part of
Asia.  Sometimes they appear to be written in Arabic, or a variation
thereof.  Pure whitewashing from the Ministry of Truth in Advertising
about (fill in the blank--pick a country, any country).

Suitable for giftwrapping and presenting to your least-favorite family
member at The (fill in the blank) Holiday Season of your choice....  Or
to a most-beloved board member.  Or your city manager.

I'd better stop while I'm ahead.  Ha!  Ha-ha!!  (Leaving on vacation
April 6--truly, it will be a good Good Friday--and not coming back until
two days before Election Day, Referendum-the Sequel, board meeting, et
al.  Perhaps I'm feeling a bit, uh, goofy today.)
