Our grand prize that we had for adult summer reading: a local,
wonderful bakery donated a loaf of a specialty bread once a month for a
year! We also gave gift certificates to local restaurants (donated) and
certificates (purchased) from the Downtown Development Authority for
shops in town. All of these were popular prizes. The person who won the
grand prize was elated!

Subject: [Publib] Incentives or Prizes for adult reading programs?

Hi PUBLIBers!

I know many of you do Winter or Summer Reading programs for your adult
library patrons. With that said, Help!

I need to come up with a list of suggestions for prizes, incentives,
goodies etc. What worked -- what didn't work?

Thanks!
