[Publib] Library Security Systems

After a rash of thefts, we've realized that it's time for our small library to invest in a security system.  We've started meeting with vendors, but would really like to hear some personal experiences from libraries.  I hope this isn't an old topic (forgive me if it is!).   
   
  If you have a security system in place, what one do you use, and how would you rate the service?  Have you had a good relationship with your vendor?  Have you seen an improvement in the protection of your collection?  Any comments or suggestions will be welcome.  We'll be taking the information to the library board in a couple of weeks, so your input is greatly appreciated!
