[Publib] Computer courses for public employees

Hello all:

We are considering putting together a battery of computer courses for fellow 
city employees. More specifically the courses would bring special online 
servives currently available from the library to the attention of city 
employees. We believe this information will enhance employee job skills and 
provide easy access to some really good information.  The city already 
already provides training in the standard computer programs such as word 
processing or spreadsheets. We want to concentrate on information products.

Does anyone have any expereriences along these lines?  What kind of response 
did you receive? What classes have you offered?  Has the effort enhanced 
your  presence in the city government's value table?  Any comments would be 
appreciated.
