Ted,
One of the best sources for this kind of info is the CLENE Round Table of ALA
(Continuing Library Education Network and Exchange). Check out their website
on the ALA website.

The Diversity Committee in the Fairfax County Public Library system is
interested in "best practices" in the area of diversity. Do you have any
activities or projects in your library system to create and maintain a
balanced and diverse workforce that you'd be willing to share with us? If
so, please e-mail me directly (ted.kavich at fairfaxcounty.gov) or respond to
the list if you think this could prompt an interesting discussion.
Thanks!
