[Publib] The Experience of Libraries

I recently came across and have been distributing a document that I
think is THE essential
starting point for discussion of many of the changes libraries are faced
with making. In going over
my accumulated 200+ PUBLIB emails I was particularly intrigued by the
discussion around the
Netflick approach to collecting 'fines' and was inspired by Karen's
response to provide this document.
It was published in 2004. I know that's old by new millennium Internet
standards, but I think it deserves
another look.

Are your vendors offering you an experience you value?
Do their products offer your customers an experience they value?

I do know that I enjoy the experience of PUBLIB!
