Katie,

I'm in the process of shifting over to using Deep Freeze at my library. The computers were previously set up with Fortress and Clean Slate, which I find difficult to use. I am setting them up now with Windows Group Policy for security and Deep Freeze as a catch-all security measure. I have been VERY happy with how this is working!

Subject: [Publib] Clean Slate or Deep Freeze?

Hi everyone,

Once again I come to the collective librarian brain for advice. We're
thinking of purchasing something like Clean Slate or Deep Freeze for our
public workstations. Any thoughts/ complaints / advice that you could give
me on these products or products of that ilk? Naturally, the web sites of
both products I've mentioned laud themselves as being incredibly amazing.

Any and all advice is, of course, very much appreciated.

Thanks all,

-Katie
