But then you have to ones that would scream that we're letting the
government monitor what they check out, etc, etc.... just like they did with
the pictures.

Love it! I did look into that at one time - but I don't think it would have
worked with our circulation system!

It would be great if we could just scan all our patrons finger prints, they
come in to check out a book, we scan their finger, and then find the
matching one in our system and away they go. I don't think we'll get as many
people saying "I left my finger in my other pair of pants" or "My wife took
my car and my finger is in it." In the long run this would (may) be cheaper
since you don't need to purchase library cards!
