We have been using Cyberstar Timer for the last 6 months and are very
pleased. It cost about $5 per computer, you can change the options for how
long to allow users on the computers, and it is simple to operate.

Here is the link to their website.

You can down load the program for 2 computers to look at it, and when you
pay (paypal) for the license - you get an unlock key.

Please post your responses to the list. I think a lot of us would be
interested in this information!

Greetings from sunny Portland.

I am new to the list so apologies in advance if this topic has been
covered recently. If so, please let me know when the discussion took
place and I'll refer to the archive.

Here at the University of Southern Maine, we're looking for a cheap
(open-source would be even better) application that would manage
sessions on our public computers. In other words, users would log in and
be held to a time limit of one hour. It wouldn't need to be a
sophisticated product, but we're looking for something that would jibe
with our pay-for-print system.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Barret
