I would encourage you to explore http://ct.webjunction.org/do/DisplayContent?id=7050 .  They have created a gateway which leads to policies from a number of libraries in several states, including numerous meeting room policies.

  Hi, everybody...

   

  I need a little help.  My library has several meeting rooms for the public to use and we are having some issues with businesses/business people using these rooms.  As we are tax-exempt, we can't allow sales or promotion of business products.  There are other issues, too,  with religious groups, political parties, etc... 

   

  I was wondering if any of you have dealt with these issues and if you have meeting room policies that handle this.  I would appreciate it greatly if you would be willing to share your policies with me.  If  you want, you may email me at sboyd at cvrls.net.
