Karen and Borage (and Karen's mom) came to our library last spring. The
program was scheduled after our newsletter had been published--even so,
62 people attended! The evaluations were extremely positive.
If Karen is coming your way, I highly recommend her program.

SchoolTalks
Dear Librarians,
3-TIME IDITAROD DOG MUSHER, AWARD-WINNING SCHOOL SPEAKER AND OUTDOOR
COLUMNIST, AND CHILDREN'S BOOK AUTHOR AVAILABLE TO DO PRESENTATIONS IN
YOUR SCHOOL OR LIBRARY!
This last spring, Borage (my sled dog) and I spent two months on the
road and did over 80 Iditarod talks in Texas, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio,
Michigan, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana. We had a great time making
new friends and seeing new places. THANK YOU to all who welcomed us into
your communities, schools, libraries, and homes. It was a special trip.
I am currently booking talks for this winter all the way through next
summer. There is a good chance I will be in your area in 2007 so please
let me know ASAP if you're interested.
To learn more about my mushing experiences, writing, sled dogs, and of
course, my presentations, go to my website at www.mymusher.com. You can
also email me at mymusher at yahoo.com with specific questions.
