[Publib] used book prices

There might be a middle of the road approach -
We sell books for a higher price on the Friday and Saturday of the sale
to make as much money as we can. On the last day of the sale (Sunday),
we sell books by the bag because we don't want to move and store them
again. So books are $3.00 for a brown grocery sack -

Along this same thread, I need what price you all sell your used books
for.
My board thinks we are harboring a vast treasure trove of books and
won't
lower prices from the $1.50 for hardbacks and .50 cents for ratty
paperbacks. I thought if I compiled some data that supported my theory
of
"cheaper prices = selling more books" would help to sway them. I have
board
meeting tonight and then the annual two day sale starting tomorrow
(though
we do have a monthly sale also.) Any input is appreciated.

Thanks.
