Position Vacancy Announcement  Public Services Librarian, Lincoln County Library, Libby, Montana
  The Lincoln County Library in beautiful northwest Montana seeks an enthusiastic and creative professional for the full-time position of Public Services Librarian. Reporting to the Library Director, this position requires a dynamic, customer-focused librarian to provide services to the varied communities of Lincoln County.  These services include but are not limited to: reader’s advisory services, programming, collection development and maintenance, reference services, and community outreach.  
  Bordering Cabinet Mountain Wilderness Area and close to Glacier National Park, Lincoln County has 20,000 residents and offers tremendous recreational opportunities.  The Lincoln County Library has a main library in Libby and branches in Troy and Eureka.
  ALA/MLIS required or be able to obtain an MLIS within one year of employment.  Recently graduated MLIS students are encouraged to apply.  Public library experience preferred including experience working with reader’s advisory, collection development, reference, programming, and community outreach.  A strong commitment to public service is essential.  Must have valid driver’s license.  Beginning salary: $34,574 plus benefits.  If you have questions about this opening, please call 406-293-2778.
