I just got my MLS so I'm officially a librarian, (though I don't have a 
librarian position yet)...

I drive a 2006 Toyota Scion xA which I love to death.  It gets 35-40mpg, 
it's a 5-door hatchback, it's tiny (good for NYC parking!), nimble and a 
great sound system.  But the best part is it only cost $15k from the
