Hello!! Just wanted to post the two responses I got on DVD shelving for the
library. Thanks to those who gave suggestions.

Hi Chasity,
A friend of mine discovered a dvd browsing system when she was in a video
store on the Cape. It is
basically plastic sleeves that hang on slatwall and you flip them like
pages on a book, so you can
see the front and the back of the dvd case.
I found them for sale from two places. The Video Store Shopper
1-800-325-6867, Carlos x 176; and
Specialty Store Services 1-800-999-0771; Andrea x258 (ps got the better
price from Specialty Store)
They are fixtures that require slatwall; which I was fortunate to have
throughout most of my AV room.
I have also used my roll out cd drawers for dvds; these fit into my
standard library shelving from MJ
Industries; they work very well but they are realllllly expensive. One
drawer after discount from distributor is about $400.
Any questions, please feel free to get back to me.

Hi Chasity,
We love our LIFT gondolas that we got from Library Furniture International
(the red ones in the pics are ours). There are several different types of
shelves that can be interchanged on the base units, and we use a combination
of them for variety including the bins shown in the pictures, zig-zags, and
straight shelves. We've been trying to come up with the $$ to get the same
red units for our music CDs (another library, Skokie Public Library, near
here has them for all their AV). They're not cheap, but they look and work
great.
