Today's Chicago Tribune reports that a man was shot in a branch of  the 
Chicago Public Library.  According to the story, the man sought refuge  from 
attackers and was shot in the shoulder as he stood near the counter of the  Marshall 
Square Branch in the Little Village neighborhood.  His assailant  apparently 
fired through the front door; no suspect has yet been  apprehended.
