[Publib] Recorder for Oral Histories

Our Genealogy librarian is beginning to record oral histories.  I'm
looking for a good, relatively voice recorder to document oral
histories.  She has asked that it be relatively small with good sound
quality.  I hope that it will be USB compatible so we can download it to
a PC.  Any suggestions of what to purchase or not to purchase would be
appreciated.
