Hi, Maryann

We have tutors who charge and some which are free. We just
look the other way if they are charging. Most are ESL tutors and
we feel they are doing a service for our patrons and our community.

Hi everyone: This topic has been discussed on this list previously; however, I'd like to address it again, not from the point of view of the noise caused by the tutors but more the specific aspect of tutors being paid for work they're doing in the library but not as employees of the library. I have spoken with one library that has a policy addressing this issue but wonder if others have a policy regarding this. Thanks.
