If a patron verbally assaults a staff member (or even another patron),
we expel them from the Lab.  Depending on the language, it might be
for 30 days (2nd offense is permanently) or it may be permanent.

Our library does issue cards to the homeless.  They must bring in a
letter from their shelter, stating that they do indeed stay there.
They are only allowed to check out one book at a time and the card
expires a lot quicker than normal ones do (every 2 or 3 months I
think).
