As someone who's been doing HTML for
the last twelve years, I certainly should have
known to follow the <tag> </tag> convention!
I can only plead that when I wrote yesterday,
I was </coffee>.
I also belatedly discovered that I misused
"it's" in my posting about the permanent loss
of 46 positions at Mesa Public Library. A former
editor (such as myself) committing this gaffe
is exactly equivalent to the Pope polishing off
a Whopper and then remembering it is Lent.
Not that the Pope would forget about Lent.
Especially the current one.
Whenever I find myself </coffee> my brain
does indeed immediately take on the
aspect of canned candied yams. Any
Iowan or Minnesotan understands this.
Need to sign off . . . it is Saturday and I am
on the desk, waiting to be bothered by
someone (other than my colleagues).
Enjoy the weekend and Go Suns!
