[Publib] re "customer" vs "patron"

Why not think of them in terms of their investment in the library?

Visitor, resident, and cardholder .

I believe that each term represents an appropriate statement of
expectations.  During any encounter with a visitor, resident or cardholder I
often attach more significance to what they say to me based on their
commitment to their role of ownership of our service.
