[Publib] One Book/One Community - The Yearling

The Marion County Public Library System is coordinating our next One
Book/One Community program.  The selected book for 2006 is "The
Yearling" by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings.  If anyone has used this book for
a One Book project in the past and has extra copies in any format that
we could borrow for a while, it would be very helpful.  We have found
that the bookstores are having difficulty getting this novel in the
audiobook format, which means we will be the sole source in the
community.  This is good news and bad news.  The last thing we'd want is
for people to get excited about the program and then be put on a reserve
list when they ask for it.  If you can help us, please contact me.  The
program will go from September 23, 2006 through November 4, 2006.
Therefore, we'd need to borrow the books from the beginning of September
to approximately late November.  Thanks!
