We refer our folks to the local Literacy Volunteers, who do a wonderful job
helping adults learn to read. We have a growing Hispanic population, and
Literacy Volunteers also has taken on much of the adult ESL needs in our
area. They are a wonderful resource. You might consider partnering with
them, rather than trying to reinvent the wheel. Literacy Volunteers' tutors
will often meet with their students in our study rooms, which we are happy
to make available.
