[Publib] Why Librarianship?

What else do you do when you can't sleep at night until you find the answer to the questions that came up in dinner conversation?  It is satisfying.  And, I wanted to end up in a profession that involves service and gives back to the community - one that let's me sleep all the other nights (when I'm not determined to find an answer :)
