[Publib] Why librarianship?

librarians, we mentor children and young adults who frequent our libraries
that our jobs might actually be careers for them?!"

Absolutely! All the time as I spent in libraries growing up, I never had a
librarian give any evidence that they thought I should be one when I grew
up, or show that being a librarian was fun and/or cool. In retrospect, that
seems very sad.
