[Publib] Administrative Librarians (was Why Librarianship)

I didn't want to be a director/library manager either and I hear that so much from other colleagues. I wonder what the ratio is of those who really had administrative goals all along and those of us who fell into it by accident!

Nice thread. I always wanted to be a teacher and then a librarian. When other kids were playing school, I was playing school and library. :-) I never wanted to be a director but here I am and here I'll stay- at least for now. Mary
