"United 93," a new film about passengers who prevented September 11 hijackers from using a plane to damage or destroy a Washington building, was released on Friday. Family members of the victims cooperated with the film's producers. With primary sources, including the flight's recordings, news videos (from the BBC) and the official 9-11 Commission Report, students can learn what actually happened aboard the flight as passengers thwarted the hijacker's objectives. Also featured, in chapter 12, is the response of American children to the events of September 11. Their art work is now part of the U.S. national archives. http://www.awesomestories.com/disasters/america_attacked/america_attacked_ch1.htm
