[Publib] "Serious" internet users versus "entertainment"users

The Madison Heights Public Library has two of the public Internet
stations in our Adult area set up this way to accommodate those who
might just need to quickly check email. While this helps somewhat, we
also have those who will sign up for an express workstation until one of
the regular workstations becomes available. I suspect this problem is
universal. We'll be having SAM (Smart Access Manager) software
installed next month. While we have heard both pro and con from
libraries in our cooperative who have already begun using SAM, we see it
as an improvement over our current manual sign in method.
