[Publib] "Serious" internet users versus "entertainment" users

We have this same problem and, as much as I know it can drive us nuts,
it is not our place to decide who is doing "purposeful" work and who
is not. Perhaps the person surfing myspace is a potential employer or
a friend checking in on a troubled "web" friend. Are we to split
hairs and/or discriminate based on age? While I do realize that it
can upset folks who are asked to leave for someone else (in some cases
regardless of the reason), we are not information nazis. We are
gatekeepers and, in that capacity, we can only offer access and
guidance- not wield the sword of discrimination.

All this is, of course, my opinion.
