Kyleen,

This is a question I have wondered about, as well. My library is in needed of many updated versions of standard reference titles, but we could stand to add some new ones.

On a similar vein, I have watched many libraries in the surrounding communities reduce their reference collections by both weeding and re-classing other titles into the circulating collection. I wonder how many are considering enhancing their collections versus the number reducing?

    Hi Everyone,

I have a question regarding reference titles. My current project is to add some titles to our collection. So far I've been using our library system's recommended reference list and other similar lists to see where I can fill in the gaps. Does anyone know of any Web sites (besides the normal magazine sites) I can look for something like this? Are there any sites dedicated solely to reference titles?

  Thanks much!
