[Publib] Electric scooters in libraries

My library system is planning to purchase a couple of electric shopping
carts (a motorized cart with a large basket often seen at grocery
stores) for a new branch opening next fall.  We've accumulated a lot
of information, but are hoping that another library will share their
experience with us.  We'd appreciate any guidance, i.e. brand names,
size, procedures, personal anecdotes, etc.  Thank you in advance for
your assistance.
