[Publib] hybrid vehicle for library use

Well, we don't have a hybrid for library use, but I am a hybrid owner and
take every opportunity to wax poetic over our Prius. I have an '04 Prius,
which rides well, is roomy, has a nice-sized trunk and has proven very
reliable. I usually get in the high 40s in cold weather to low 50s during
warmer months.
The only potential drawback so far is the battery technology, which is still
new, and replacing the battery pack will be a major expense, but so far, so
good.
I recommend these vehicles for everyone, for the obvious reasons. Although
the initial purchase price is higher, the more of these vehicles (and other
alternative vehicles we can get on the road) the sooner their costs will
come down. We also as a nation need to begin a shift away from oil
dependence, and these vehicles are a good transition and first step.
There are federal tax breaks available for owners of new hybrids. Not sure
if those breaks would apply in the same fashion to a library.

Subject: [Publib] hybrid vehicle for library use
Does anyone have a hybrid vehicle in use by the library? If so, which one
and do you recommend it?
We're looking for a mini-van or SUV to use to transport mainly materials
between locations, but also possibly people. For example, let the teen
librarians use it when visiting the high school.
Thanks in advance.
