Well, I thought about this myself last night. I'm not sure how I would feel
about a handwritten note; these days, these are so rare it could seem
over-personal for a meeting that was about a business relationship. In fact,
I *personally* am o.k. with emailed thank-you notes-and I can think of at
least one person at My Place Of Work who sent one and was subsequently
employed. But the one danger there is the dreaded spam filter; a letter
shouldn't have that problem (unless you re-use a Publishers Clearinghouse
envelope)...
