[Publib] To wiki or blog

We have small group of mostly school library staff, educators and public library staff that review new books for children and teens. The majority of the reviews are posted here: http://www.lincoln.k12.or.us/Page.asp?NavID=1149 . This works ok for just a list of the month's reviews.
At a discussion yesterday people talked about wanting a way to search the reviews and talked about setting up a database, spread sheet, or whatever. However, I was thinking maybe doing a blog or wiki might be even better but which. I created a very rudimentary blog (with color and design that I hate but don't want to spend time fixing at the moment) at http://firstthursdays.library-blogs.net . The software actually has a review section set up that pulls information about the item and a picture of the cover from Amazon . One could use the same format to get the same information from other sources but it would take longer.
The blog, when they finish today's maintenance and upgrade, should be searchable in Google as well as on the site using the tags. I could pay a bit of money and have even more search options.
It will be open so that people in the group can add their own blog posts. And the group really seems to like the idea of being able to add comments.
So, this kind of works.
But would a wiki work better? I have not tried to develop a wiki yet but in my reading it seems that some of the formatting might work better for this purpose. However, I have not found (though I haven't searched extensively) a wiki that does something like book reviews from a group.
What do you think?
Do you have any sample site suggestions?
Thanks.
