[Publib] Joseph A. Fischer letters

A patron found letters in a suitcase being thrown out.
The letters are from Joseph A. Fischer to a teacher
Cornelius Senne. He was a music publisher (J. Fischer
& Bros)in New York. I found his obit in the NY Times.
He died in 1960. She wants to know to how to contact
the family to give the letters. I found a music
publisher, Carl Fischer. I think he is a descendant. I
gave her that number to call. 

How does she get the letters appraised if she can't
find the family? I was telling her to contact an
archives. What kind of archives would want letters
from a music publisher? 

This is a dilemma!
